Most of us are planning to increase our use of social media in 2011 to achieve our business objectives. However, we should also be aware of the pitfalls of this tool, and make sure we use it with care!
Following the recent Arizona shootings, Sarah Palin has discovered the downside of social media campaigns, that once they have been launched we have no control over where they go. Added to that, messages must be carefully planned and consistent. It is easy to be caught out if we are seen to contradict ourselves as the internet has a long memory!
